Angel Protector Chapter 2: Deceit

As the light emerged from Ayumi and filled the room, she was being raised into the air by a strong wind and wings were slowly coming out of her back. Her outfit too had changed into a pure white gown. She had 3 wings on each side and they were flapping gracefully. In her left hand was now a bow, not just an ordinary bow but one that was made of crystal and had ancient writings on it. Sera looked on in amazement as Ayumi transformed. Ayumi too had no idea what was happening to her but realized she had some kind of power she could control now.
Sera & Ayumi: What is happening..

Draken smirked as he saw this and mumbled to himself, "My mission is complete, the Lord will be pleased."

Ayumi put her right hand to the string of the bow and an arrow filled with the power of the wind came forth from the tip of her hand.
"Tell me now why you attacked me!" shouted Ayumi as she pulled the arrow further.

Draken laughed as he said, "I will not say, but I will say one thing, your mother is still alive."

Ayumi's eyes widened upon hearing this and told him, "that's not true; I saw both my parents get killed before my eyes."

Draken laughed again as he said with an evil grin, "that's what you think, but your mother is still alive."
Tears began to form in Ayumi's eyes as she slowly withdrew the arrow. "no, that cant be true..I..saw"

Just at this moment, Sera shouted "Don't let him distract you, fire the arrow!"
Ayumi seemed like she didn't hear as she continue mumbling to herself.

Draken continued laughing as he disappeared back into the shadows. "She's being held captive in the underworld, come and get her if you can."

Sera watched helplessly as he disappeared and as he tried to crawl his way to Ayumi and used every bit of strength to talk.

"Ayumi.."
Ayumi suddenly became aware of her surroundings once again and she saw Sera on the ground.
"Oh no Sera, hang on."She raised her hands instinctively to his body and sparkles of light rained from her hands.
"My strength, it's coming back."Said Sera as his began to move his body.

Ayumi smiled as she collapsed on the floor and everything became normal again as her bow and wings disappeared.
Sera brought her back to her bed as he flew with ease now.
"Thank you Ayumi, you should rest now."

Sera flew back to Divinia with many questions still on his mind. He flew to the library where the ancient texts were kept.
As he went from section to section, he could not find anything that could answer his questions. Than, his eyes saw the restricted section.
"If only I could get into there, the answer should be in there."

He made sure no one was seeing and than quietly flew inside. He searched and searched and finally found what seemed like a book that contained the answers to his questions. Just when he was about to take it a voice came from behind him.
"What do you think you're doing Sera?"
"I know this voice, its.."he turned around and saw Michael.

"This area is restricted, you do know that don't you Sera?"
"Yes but I had to come in here to find answers to questions."
"A demon came am I right?"
"Were you expecting that?"
"Yes I was as a matter of fact."
"Than explain all that happened now!"
"Do you remember the legend about the creation of Divinia?"
"Yes of course but what has that got to do with this?"
"Divinia was created by 4 mighty seraphim's, each with a different power. Wind, fire, nature and water."
"But that's only a legend, isn't it?"
"That's up to you to decide."
"Ayumi seemed like she had the power of wind, how is that possible?"
"I can't say, but let me ask you this. Do you want to get stronger?"
"I need to become stronger so I can protect her."
"Come with me to the test room to become a Guardian."

As both of them flew to the castle, many questions were still in Sera's mind.
"We are here, before you start let me explain the way you need to pass this test."
"Hurry up."
"There is a maze on the other side of this door; the door will be gone once you close it, in this maze there are demons for you to kill."
"Demons?"
"You either kill all of them or find the way out of there; you can't fly out of there of course. Are you ready?"
"Yes I'm ready."

Sera opened the door and stepped in.
"This is..."
