Today was the day to collect the O level results....anyways..i better keep this short cause im having a lot of feelings now.....my results were very disappointing.......but still...im going to say thanks to some of my teachers who taught me well but i still disappointed them.....

Mrs Tan Chew Ling my english teacher......she always smiles when she teaches and her mind maps are useful....lolx....sorry i didnt get that B3 you expected......

Mrs Tan Siaw Fung my chemistry teacher......a good teacher who explains everything well and tries to keep in simple...she's my form teacher too...no distinction for science!!! sighx....another disappointment...

Miss Suhaila my E Math teacher.....a kind and helpful teacher....most of us improved to a B3 but me.......sighx....no distinction this time....surprising??more like shocking....blehx.....

Miss Winnie Tan and Mr Foo.....my geog and social studies teachers.....bah...biggest disappointment.....and humanities was supposed to help my marks...its ironic it actually pulled my grades down the most.....

To my other teachers who had taught me....i also thank you.....

I still cant get over the fact my eng and chi got the same grades.......arghhhhhh

I simply love chinese new year!! Its that time of the year when you catch up with relatives,eat good food and most importantly get money^^

Day 1 : relatives visit those that live on the east side of singapore,which simply put is my house and my 2nd and 3rd aunts house. My family was first on the list and thus i had to wake up early to greet guests......aiyo......tired....but what to do....time to put on a smile... :)
my fave cousin and his family came first....and of course the normal thing we did was play cards....lolx..a game called "dai ti" as usual....he kept winning....no surprise there..lolx....more guests came and it was time to move on the bedok where my 2 aunts lived.
my nephew is such a cute baby!! he was certainly grabbing all the attention...everyone wanted to carry him around! but thats a baby for you...lolx...ok serious business...time for more card playing!! lolx....the adults were hogging the mahjong table...no choice....my other aunt jus lived in the next block...so my cousins and i went there and i learnt how to play some mahjong there...lolx....beginners luck rox...i had great tiles....too bad i didnt know how to win...it was practice anyways...no money involved....my nephews and niece came a while later my nephew came and took over me.....he knew how to play???!!! omg!!after more mahjong..back to 2nd aunts house....adults still at mahjong table....time for dinner!! ok...time for blackjack...money involved now....i lost like....$2?? but considering each bet was 20¢ played thru the nite...time to go home and the real party was tml!

day 2: time for the west side....lolx...2nd aunt and family came to visit first.my cute baby nephew also came. awwww...aint he adorable...first house to go...my fave cousins place....my winning streak started in his house. went there ate some lunch and then more blackjack!! i was like winning much more often.....money money money....i placed 50¢ bets...so it means more money....my nephews and niece placed 10¢ of course....lolx...ok..on to the next house...the house of my nephews and niece....we watch kung fu hustlewe only watched disc 1.disc 2 to be continued at the next house. my 1st aunt's house.ate some home made carrot cake while watching the show...ok...the last house to visit.my 1st uncle's house!! no one was there yet..except my cousins their friendsthey were singing karaok....omg...i shall not stress on about their singing...its not bad waited for everyone else to come....wat to do...i asked my mum to teach me mahjong!! lolx...."13 wonders"...the first thing she tried to do for me....lolx...unsuccesful though....everyone came and then its time for more blackjack!! 50¢ were now all i placed....since i was sure i was earning money....show me the moneyyyyyy.......dinner time!! ok...more blackjack after that....i was banker.....did you think i was gonna lose big time??wrong....i was winning a lot of money!! until they requested a change of banker....lolx...i was losing a little now...but my winnings were still a lot...so who cares?? played until it was time to go home overall winnings.....$14...who knew those coins could add up to so much money....my cousin won more tho...and so did my oldest nephew...but not as much as me...hehex....ok...i think i've writen enough...cya everyone!!

ok...im feeling very sick right now.....and its before chinese new year...what bad luck....cause of sickness....unknown to me till now...but i think its cause i ate too much of my mum's chilli padi sauce...argh....coughing and headache....block nose and runny nose together??!!that's worse...sigh....i hope i dont come down with a fever.....there's reunion dinner tomorrow!! well....at least im sick after my work contract is completed....no need give mc....argh....im going to take a rest now....cya all next time then....

hmm..my first post shall be about my first day of work. If you are wondering what i was working as...i was working at the singapore EXPO as a bag collector for the John Little sale. Firstly,this day could not have gotten off on a worse start.I was almost late for work! Its all that stupid bus and MRT's fault! The bus i was supposed to take to the mrt station was so full i had to wait for another one which was also full......another wait....lucky i did not wait long this time. The MRT arrived soon after i stepped into the MRT station(which was good). When i alighted at tanah merah to wait another train to take me to expo...it was a long wait....a few EMPTY trains just stopped and went without opening the doors! Can you belive tat! Time was running out,i was going to be late or so i thought....a train arrived and it was a quick ride to the EXPO. I seriously had to run all the way. At first i did not know how to go the staff entrance! Thankfully,i saw some colleagues up ahead and rushed up to them....talk about a close shave....i managed to punch my time card in time. After a briefing we each went to our posts to get familiar about waht each one us should do. For the moment my post had nothing to do....so we walked around chatting with the cashiers and took a look at the items. Finally the doors were open after a 90 mins wait. Talk about kiasu....there was already a crowd outside the doors....ok...time to get to work. Passing out bags to customers and etc. Bleahz....standing there and giving out bags were'nt we only had to do. Clearing bags from the cashiers and returning trolleys-all part of wat i had to do. 1 pm came surprisingly fast and we had to stay back for 10 mins to do extra....no OT pay..talk about bad luck...o well....i went home with an aching hand and a thirsty throat....lolx..lets hope the rest of my work days here will be more exciting. As for me..its time to rest for a while. Till my next post....cya everyone!!
