Angel Protector Chapter 13:Intruder
Christine walked gracefully towards Sakura and checked her injuries.
"She took quite a blow but she won't die, don't worry."
"Phew."
"Sainte de Espirit"
Christine laid her hands over the cuts on her body and a bright light formed out of her hands and the cuts slowly became healed. She walked over to Sera and Ayumi after healing Sakura. She gave a big sigh and bent down to their sides, her long hair fluttering against the wind.
"This two took heavy damage, I can't heal them immediately."
"So what do you think we should do? "
"I'll heal the minor wounds first, bring them back to the girl's house and I'll continue from there."
"Sounds like a good idea."
"Bring back Sakura to her own home and I'll handle the rest."
"Alright."
Uriel took Sakura up from the ground and flew away. Christine looked at him as he flew away and she stood back up and stretched out her right arm in front of her. Her staff appeared into her hands and she continued by waving it across the body of Ayumi. A capsule of light surrounded her and she floated on the air. She did the same to Sera and as the two capsules floated in the air she flew up into the sky. The capsules of light followed behind her as she flew.
"Now where was her house again? Hmm, it should be around here."
She waved her left hand in the air and a screen with Michael appeared. He was doing work in the office.
"Christine? What's wrong? "
"Erm, I got lost."
"You're already there Christine." (Michael continues doing his work.)
"Oh I am? *laughs* I'm a genius."
(Michael stops doing his work and asks Christine without lifting his head up) "Is Sera ok? "
"Haha, don't worry, he'll be fine with me around."
"I'll leave him to you then." (Michael continues writing)
"Tata."
Christine winks at Michael and waves her hand again. The screen disappears. She flies into the house and looked around in the dark for the beds.
"Oh right, lights."
She snaps her fingers and the lights turn on. She rests Ayumi on the bed and the capsule of light went away. She then checked her wounds once again and went on to Sera. She laid him down on the sofa and sat down on another chair.
"I'm exhausted. I wonder how Uriel is doing "
Christine snaps her fingers again and the television is turned on. Uriel flies in at this moment and stands beside her.
"Oh you're done? "
"What do you think you're doing Christine? "
"Hey an angel needs a break too."
"But we have more important matters now."
"Fine, you're such a nag Uriel."
Christine waved her hand in the air once again and a screen appeared. Michael looked up from the work he was doing.
"Well both of you, has it been done? "
"Yes Michael, Sakura is in her own home and Sera and Ayumi are here."
"Well done. Uriel, watch over Sakura until she wakes up."
"Sure."
"And you Christine, please watch over those two."
"You can count on me."
"Now if there's nothing else, I've got work to do."
Michael waved his hand and the screen vanished. Uriel and Christine turned to look at each other.
"I guess we'll be busy for a while huh."
"Yea, you should go to Sakura, Uriel."
Uriel nods his head and flies away. Christine looks around the house and starts to walk around. She opens the door to the toilet and sees the bathtub. She opens the tap and watched as the water flowed out.
"Hmm, I could use a bath."
She steps in and relaxes herself. She closes her eyes and soon was about to fall asleep in the water.
"This feels heavenly."
All of a sudden she hears a noise coming from outside. She gets dressed and peeks outside, seeing that no one was there she went back in the bath.
"Must have been my imagination.
When she looked up at the ceiling she saw a bat in the corner of the room, it was hanging upside down. Sensing something was amiss; she went back out and took a look at Ayumi. To her horror, she saw the back of someone leaning towards Ayumi, as if trying to bite her.
"Who are you? Get away from her! "
The person turned around, his 2 fangs dripping with blood.
Angel Protector Chapter 12:Angel of death
The masked seraphim and Krysta exchanged more blows on the land and in the air. Sparks filled the night sky as Krysta’s scythe and the seraphim’s staff hit against each other. The sound of fighting filled the air as both of them continued to go at each other.
"Who are you? Why don't you take off your mask?"
"Defeat me and I'll tell you."
"You leave me no choice then."
Krysta jumped back some distance and started to say a spell. The seraphim focused and prepared herself for any magic she might have to receive.
"What is she doing? I must not be careless, should I strike her now?"
"Mistress, we should attack too."
"This is a risk but lets go for it Wy!"
"Canon mode activated."
"Deluge..."
The seraphim's staff changed forms once again as she started charging her deluge canon attack. Just as she was about to finish, Krysta suddenly finished her spell.
"Fira Explosia!"
Blades of fire surrounded the seraphim from all directions and struck her. The impact of the blades created a huge explosion and thick smoke covered the area.
"She should be dead; she took a direct hit from that attack."
"Well done Krysta, you've improved; your father will be pleased."
Melissa who had been standing at a corner watching her daughter fight finally came out and ruffled Krysta’s hair.
"Who was it anyway mum?"
"She should be the seraphim of water."
"That means we killed 2 seraphims tonight?"
"Yes, it's been a fruitful night."
As the smoke cleared, Krysta saw 2 figures coming out of the smoke.
"Mother! Look!"
"How's that possible? Someone saved her?"
Melissa's eyes opened wide in astonishment as she saw who had saved the seraphim. A male seraphim with dark raven hair and black eyes. He carried her out of the smoke and laid her down on the floor. Her mask had cracked and her robes torn.
"What are you doing here Uriel?"
"I came to save them; it's neither of their time to die yet."
"Who's that, mother?"
"Uriel...the angel of death."
"I don't want to fight you Melissa, please just leave."
"Before that, tell me how you saved her."
"I was a second too late, she had taken most of the damage, but the shield I casted managed to block some damage."
"Oh? Try blocking this!"
Melissa's nails extended to the seraphim that was lying on the floor but Uriel used his hand to stop it from reaching her.
"I said I don't want to fight you!"
"You don't have a choice do you?"
Melissa started to attack Uriel in the distance using her nails. She missed and her nails scratched thorough the floor and walls. Uriel drew his sword and tried blocking her relentless attacks. He flew high up and then towards her. Melissa used her nails to protect her slashed through the sides of Uriel's armor. His blood dripping on her nails. She licked the blood off her nails.
"A seraphim's blood. Delicious."
"You're still as strong as ever Melissa."
"And you're still as weak Uriel, makes me wonder why you're the angel of death."
Melissa started attacking him again but this time her attacks all missed. Uriel dodged them and started to run and jump on her nails towards her. He was about to slash her when she jumped back. However, she still got a cut on her shoulder.
"Hah, smart of you."
"Because you extend your nails, when someone goes near you, you're vulnerable."
"I'll leave for now. But those girls won't live for long, we'll come back to finish them next time."
Melissa and Krysta walked towards the darkness and disappeared into the shadows. Uriel walked towards the seraphim and took off her mask. Uriel had a surprised look on his face on his face, it was Sakura. She had now returned to her normal form, her wings and robes gone.
"All of them suffered heavy blows tonight, I can't heal them. Their threads of lives are still intact, thank god."
He went to Ayumi and Sera and gave a deep sigh.
"This 2 took the most damage tonight. They're hardly alive. Worse of all, they did this to each other."
Uriel paced around for awhile thinking what he should do. Suddenly he heard the flapping of wings behind him. He turned around and saw Christine.
"My my, we have a problem here don't we?"
